Hello! I’m Harry, a Cambridge grad passionate about empowering students. Achieving 4 A*s at A-Level and 11 Grade 8-9 GCSEs through mostly teaching myself in a resource-poor environment, has built in me a deep appreciation for the power of education and the art of learning.This foundation in independent learning has deeply informed my tutoring, where I personalise strategies to each student’s needs, fostering their success even in settings as demanding as Cambridge or Oxford.

My commitment extends beyond personal tutoring, with significant contributions to Team Upside and Enactus Cambridge. I’ve led projects that directly enhance educational access and quality, like the widely-utilized Financial Literacy e-book and transformative career workshops for underprivileged students. These endeavours reflect my dedication not just to teaching, but to enriching the academic and personal growth of my students.
I specialize in Mathematics and Science for GCSEs, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics for A-Levels, and I provide expert guidance for students preparing for engineering admissions interviews and exams at Cambridge University. My approach is to tailor each session to not only cover the curriculum but to also instil the analytical and problem-solving skills essential for academic and professional success in engineering and business.
My teaching style
My tutoring style is rooted in understanding each student’s unique learning process. I believe in building a strong foundation in the basics while encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills. My experience in both academia and business has taught me that effective learning is not just about memorising facts but understanding concepts and applying them in real-life scenarios.
At the same time, I maintain a focused, goal-oriented approach. This involves blending this appreciation for real-world relevance with the latest strategies and tricks tailored to super powering your exam performance. Whether that means achieving the grades you strive for in your GCSEs and A-Levels or securing that golden offer from prestigious universities like Cambridge or Oxford, my method is not just about passing exams but about equipping you with skills and insights that will serve you well beyond the classroom.
My past experience
I have extensive experience in teaching and tutoring. I have personally tutored over 50 students, helping them improve their grades significantly, often increasing their performance by 2 grade points within three months. My experience spans conducting mentoring workshops and bi-weekly tutoring sessions with more than 10 disadvantaged London colleges through Team Upside, and creating a Financial Literacy e-book with Enactus Cambridge, which has been downloaded over 5,000 times. I’ve also led a four-week financial education program with high schools and developed career workshops that benefited over 150 students.
My Proudest Achievements
I take great pride in founding Trybe, a venture that champions personal development and harnesses the power of communal support for individual progress. This initiative has not only been a testament to my entrepreneurial spirit but also reflects my deep-seated belief in the transformative power of tailored personal development programs.
Another significant accomplishment is my leadership role with the Chiswick Gators, where I’ve nurtured a thriving youth basketball team. In this capacity, I’ve been able to instill values of teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship, while also enhancing the athletic skills and personal growth of the team members.
