About Me
I’m a graduate-entry medical student with a background in neuroscience and a strong passion for teaching and supporting others in their learning. I have experience working with children through volunteering at Elim Church Coventry, where I supported children with additional needs using play, sensory activities, and structured routines. This developed my patience and ability to adapt to different learning styles. I also worked as a healthcare assistant supporting adults with learning disabilities, which strengthened my communication and empathy. In medical school, I’ve supported my peers by breaking down complex topics into simple, engaging explanations. My long-term goal is to become a doctor who not only treats but also educates and empowers others. Tutoring is a natural extension of this, and I’m excited to help students build confidence, improve their understanding, and enjoy learning.
My teaching style
My tutoring style is patient, interactive, and tailored to each student’s unique needs. I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps using real-life examples to aid understanding. I create a supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions and exploring ideas. I adapt my approach based on how each student learns best and encourage active participation to keep sessions engaging. My goal is to help students not only understand the material but also enjoy the learning process and build long-term confidence in their abilities.
