About Me

I am a 4th year medical student at Imperial College, currently intercalating in cardiovascular sciences. My passion for teaching stems from my own journey through medicine, and I have dedicated myself to researching evidence-based techniques for effective learning and revision. This allows me to tailor sessions to the idiosyncratic needs of each student.
With over 100 hours of tutoring experience, I strive to aid all students from GCSE to university admissions. Looking specifically at medicine, I have run multiple seminars and 1:1 sessions on interview practice and mocks for medicine applications, using an original curriculum I developed alongside admissions staff.

I achieved a score of 42 points at IB, with all 7s in my higher subjects – Italian, chemistry and biology. At GCSE, I achieved 13 A*s.
I am intimately familiar with the medicine application processes of the universities I applied to: ICL, KCL, QM and UCL, receiving an offer from the former 3

My teaching style

I would ultimately aim to tailor this to the student as much as possible given my understanding that everyone has their unique learning style. That said, my teaching style is centred around ‘active recall’ and hence will involve continuous testing and spaced repetition for the best possible retention. Moving away from revision and more toward the initial presentation of information, I prefer to begin with the most macro scale key concepts and then increase the granularity at the students pace.

My past experience

I have over 100 hours of tutoring experience, starting with teaching KS2 level maths, English and science up right until what I am most passionate about, which is interview practice for medicine admissions.

My Proudest Achievements

My proudest achievement would be getting my place in Imperial medicine, I found this process extremely difficult and experimented with an enormous volume of revision strategies, communication and public speaking skills as well as seeking the best possible extra curriculars for my application. It would hence be a pleasure for me to share some of the lessons I learned during that time.
