6About Me
Experienced teacher in primary and secondary schools as well as lecturing at the City of Westminster College; teaching BTEC Sports Coaching and Sports Science Courses. As well as over 12 years experience working in education I have also owned and been the director of a local business providing quality sports in schools. I would describe myself as a friendly and enthusiastic teacher with the passion and the determination to help students get the best marks with assignments and go into exams feeling confident.
I am currently working at New City College London as a Lecturer in Sports Science, Physical Education, and Sports Coaching. As I work 4 days a week I have time to tutor online.
The subjects I have recently taught are Sports Science, Physical Education, Travel and Tourism, Business Studies, Media Studies and Turkish (GCSE)
My teaching style
My teaching style can be adapted according to the student’s needs but I am a friendly teacher always able to show my desire to help my student progress with exams and assignments. I am also very target driven which helps me promote hard work and determination.
My past experience
8 years of experience teaching Physical Education,
6 years of experience Lecturing Sports Science,
2 years experience as a part-time Online Tutor.
My Proudest Achievements
As a Teacher, I was proud to see 100% of my class pass exams without any referrals. Since I have been an Online Tutor I have been proud to see students achieve 3 A’s at A Levels and have been able to help more than 10 of my students achieve a Distinction in BTEC Sports Science courses. I have been proud to help many students with learning difficulties like dyslexia and ADHD to achieve better results as well as feel more confident when answering exam questions.
