Bartek
About Me
Hi!
My name is Bartek, and I’d be excited to support you in your upcoming UCAS application! I have freshly graduated with a BA in Law from Oxford University with a Law Faculty Prize in Legal History for the best performance in that subject. In the upcoming year, I’ll be studying for my Solicitor Qualifying Exam, and then join a Magic Circle law firm for my training contract. Throughout my degree, I have tutored for +400 hours, helping multiple UCAS applicants to master their LNAT exam technique, improve their Personal Statements, and develop their Oxbridge interview skills. My students boosted their LNAT scores considerably, mastered their essay-writing skills and – most importantly – received offers from top Russell Group universities, including Oxford, King’s College London and Queen Mary.
I’d be thrilled to get to know you soon and guide you through your application journey to help you land an offer from your dream university! Depending on your needs, I can support you holistically at all stages of the application process or focus on one particular aspect of it, especially the LNAT exam.
My teaching style
FLEXIBLE TEACHING STYLE
My teaching style is flexible and tailored to your specific needs and preferences. My aim is to create an environment where you will feel as comfortable and confident as possible. During the first session, I always ask my students about their favourite teaching style, which I then adapt for our future sessions. Feel welcome to choose whatever teaching style suits you best, whether it is brainstorming, a mini-lecture, an informal conversation, or solving LNAT questions and writing essays together.
ACTION PLAN
After our first intro session, I will create an action plan based on your needs and application/LNAT deadlines. We will then follow this plan over the course of our lessons. It will become more straightforward for you to manage your LNAT and application preparations, and you (and your parents) will also find it much easier to track your progress.
RESPONSIVENESS
We will communicate via WhatsApp, which permits me to immediately respond to your questions between our sessions. Whether you find some practice questions challenging, need urgent advice on your Personal Statement drafting or simply need to reschedule our lesson, I will happily reply to you straight away.
HOMEWORK
Since I know that our time is precious, I happily offer you homework (either Section A or B questions), which I then review before the session and share my feedback with you when we meet again. Mindful of your soon-to-start school commitments, I will also make sure not to collide with assignments from your teachers. However, please let me know if you do not want homework in between our sessions, it is entirely optional!
My past experience
With a wealth of +400 hours taught, I have gained invaluable experience in navigating students through the UCAS application and supporting them in their LNAT preparations. I want to use my experience now to help you succeed in your application to your dream university!
Most of my tutoring experience comes from LNAT tutoring. I have helped my students to boost their Section A scores by sharing with them useful exam techniques and practical time management tips, as well as providing a wide collection of LNAT mock papers for practice. Furthermore, I teach how to write succinct and impactful Section B essays, which will demonstrate your critical thinking, on-point analysis and clear organisation of your thoughts. When it comes to Personal Statements, I offer support at all stages of its drafting – from brainstorming initial ideas, through polishing the content, to formatting and cutting down word count.
Additionally, my experience also includes IB tutoring (Global Politics HL and Economics HL) as well as volunteering over 120 hours to teach a range of subjects to middle-schoolers from an orphanage in my hometown.
My Proudest Achievements
Academically – topping my cohort in legal history; professionally – securing a training contract at a Magic Circle law firm in London; and, as a tutor, receiving “thank you” messages from my students when they receive their university offers!
