About Me
Hi there, I’m Louis and I’m currently in my third year studying medicine at Leicester. My journey into medicine was not simple and I’ve come to realise that’s often the case for many of us.
Education holds immense value, particularly in the medical field. However I advocate for a holistic approach, one that prioritises excelling academically while also nurturing a well-rounded life. It’s crucial to be the best version of ourselves to effectively aid others in the long run.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve honed qualities like discipline, efficiency, and simplicity. These traits, finely sharpened in the rigours of medical school, have contributed significantly to my personal growth. I owe this growth to medical school and I want others to feel what I feel.
My aspiration extends beyond personal development. I’m keen on guiding aspiring medical students, sharing insights to help them avoid the pitfalls and challenges I encountered. I believe aiding others in their journey to medical school not only fosters their growth as professionals but also nurtures their personal evolution. It’s about shaping not just future medics, but well-rounded individuals who can make a meaningful difference.
My teaching style
My teaching style prioritises flexibility, adaptability, attentive listening, and patience to ensure each student’s unique needs are met. I will make a plan with you based on what you want to achieve.
My past experience
I have tutored several students through Medic Mind. In addition to this I currently tutor a year 13 A-Level student through a university lead initiative, I have helped them with admissions tests, interview prep, medical school selection and general tips and advice about university.
