Fawad
About Me
My name is Fawad Bin Fazil, and I am a dedicated educator and professional engineer with over a decade of experience in the technical sector. I hold an MS in Structural Integrity from Brunel University London, a qualification that has provided me with a profound understanding of the mechanics, materials, and mathematical principles that govern our physical world. My academic background isn’t just theoretical; it is backed by years of rigorous application in high-stakes environments.
Throughout my career, I have held various influential positions at leading consultancy firms within the petrochemical industry. This professional journey has allowed me to bridge the gap between classroom concepts and practical engineering solutions. As a tutor, I bring this “real-world” lens to every session, helping students understand not just the how, but the why behind complex topics in mathematics, physics, and structural engineering.
At 38 years old, I offer a mature, patient, and highly disciplined approach to teaching. I understand that every student learns differently, and I pride myself on my ability to break down intricate problems into manageable, logical steps. Whether you are struggling with foundational concepts or advanced structural analysis, my goal is to equip you with the critical thinking skills and technical confidence required to excel academically and professionally. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals through structured, insightful, and engaging mentorship.
My teaching style
My teaching philosophy is built on three core pillars: context, visualization, and logical layering.
I bridge the gap between abstract theory and real-world application using my engineering background. I focus on breaking complex problems into manageable steps and fixing foundational gaps before moving to advanced concepts.
I foster a patient, no-judgment environment where we use visualization and practical examples from the petrochemical industry to make math and physics stick.
