Lewis
About Me
Hi, I’m Lewis, a second-year medical student at King’s College London, one of the UK’s top medical schools. I scored in the top 3% nationally in the UCAT and received interview offers from every medical school I applied to. I understand how competitive and stressful the application process can be, and I’m here to guide students through it with clarity, structure, and confidence.
I currently help lead a medical society, where I support aspiring doctors through mentorship, academic development, and graduate preparation. My teaching approach is clear, supportive, and results-driven. I focus not just on technique, but also on building the right mindset to handle pressure and perform under timed conditions.
With experience tutoring both A-Level students and UCAT candidates, I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, whether that’s building foundational understanding or fine-tuning high-level strategies. I also recommend and provide high-quality resources, including mock tests, books, and online tools, to support consistent progress.
Parents can be assured that their child will be learning from someone who’s not only been through the process successfully, but who is also deeply committed to helping others achieve the same.
My teaching style
My teaching style blends explanation, guided practice, and timed drills develop a complete understanding of the topic. Once a student has a solid grasp of the fundamentals, we move on to refining their techniques using tutorials/walkthroughs on the different scenarios, and tips that make a real difference. I also provide or recommend essential resources, including websites, books, and mock exams, to ensure students can continue progressing between lessons.
I have experience tutoring both A-Level students and UCAT candidates, and I tailor my sessions for anyone aiming to apply to medicine or dentistry—typically ages 16–19, though mature applicants are also welcome. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for help on a specific subject, I can help you build the skills and confidence to reach your highest potential.
