I’m a 4th-year medical student at the University of Queensland with years of tutoring experience across high school, university, and GAMSAT preparation. With a strong academic background in biomedical science and medicine, I specialize in breaking down complex topics into clear, understandable concepts. My teaching style
My teaching style is highly interactive and cooperative—I believe learning works best when it’s a two-way process. I encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and actively engage with the material rather than just memorizing facts. For clinical and applied subjects, I focus on practical application, using real-world cases, problem-solving exercises, and discussion-based learning. Feedback is a key part of my approach, helping students refine their reasoning and improve their performance. My goal is to make lessons dynamic, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs.
My past experience
Yes! I have over five years of experience tutoring high school students in chemistry, math, biology, and physics, helping over 50 students achieve excellent ATAR results in Australia. I’ve also tutored GAMSAT for a year with great reviews, focusing on effective strategies and critical thinking. At university, I’ve been a tutor for biomedical and medical students in anatomy for four years, providing both structured lessons and practical application. I’ve also had the opportunity to guest lecture, further refining my ability to teach complex topics in an engaging and understandable way.
My Proudest Achievements
Getting into medical school was a huge achievement, but what I’m most proud of is helping others do the same. Seeing my students improve, gain confidence, and reach their goals makes it all worth it.
