About Me
Hello, my name is Georgina Wilkinson and I am currently a second-year Law student at SOAS, University of London. understand how stressful studying can be, and I aim to create a supportive, approachable learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and grow. Whether you’re preparing for exams, developing essay skills or trying to understand a difficult topic, I will guide you at your pace with patience and encouragement.
I know how important it is to balance studies with other interests. Outside of academia, I enjoy reading both classic and fantasy fiction, and I am currently writing my first book as a creative hobby. I also enjoy ice skating, playing badminton, and volunteering, all of which help me stay active, engaged, and balanced. I am passionate about helping others succeed and hope to inspire confidence and curiosity in every student I work with.
My teaching style
I am a patient person my nature. My teaching style is calm, clear and encouraging. I tailor each session to suit the student’s pace, needs and goals. I focus on breaking down complex ideas, building confidence, and creating a relaxed and engaging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking ownership of their learning.
My past experience
Yes. I have tutored as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Award and planned learning activities for infant school children during my Health and Social Care studies. At university, I am part of an informal study group and regularly give peer feedback. I also used to train new team members in my workplace so leadership and taking the riens when needed is not an unfamiliar concept to me.
