About Me
As a student entering my final year of university myself, I understand the importance of having a good teacher, with whom you are comfortable asking questions and who cares about their student’s personal progress in a subject. I pride myself in having qualities that will create a relaxed and fun atmosphere that aims to provide a productive learning experience. Having taken Chemistry and Biology at Higher Level for my IB examinations, and currently studying a humanities degree, I enjoy teaching a variety of subjects. I am very familiar with tricky entrance examinations, the IGCSE format, and International Baccalaureate in particular. Furthermore, I am very familiar with the DELF/DELE language examinations, having prepared for these myself, and for which I can prepare French students all the way to C2 level, and Spanish students to B2.
My teaching style
A typical lesson begins with a 10 min evaluation of homework from the previous lesson, followed by recaps of previously encountered difficulties / gaps in understanding. I enjoy incorporating variety in how I teach, particularly to adapt to my student’s strengths and weaknesses.
My past experience
I have experience tutoring French to younger students on a regular basis, alongside my studies.
