About Me
Hi I’m Maya. I am a recent LLB law graduate from the University of Bristol.
I have studied all core llb law modules (tort law, land law, public law, criminal law, trusts and contract law) as well as other law modules such as internet technology law, EU law, medical law, family law, immigration law, jurisprudence and more.
I am an experienced LNAT tutor, teaching both verbal reasoning skills and essay technique, as well as the necessary exam content to prepare for the test. I also tutor a range of GCSE and A-level subjects, such as English Literature, History and Government and Politics. I have previously tutored KS2-3 students in general studies.
I also offer assistance towards my tutees UCAS personal statements and external admissions essays, to aid them through the university application process.
My teaching style
First, I discuss my tutee’s goals with them and their parents (if requested), to understand what they’d like to achieve from the sessions.
I then proceed to create a study and revision plan tailored to their specific goals and the course’s objectives, to ensure the sessions stay on track and to ensure the best outcome.
From there, dependent on the amount and style of sessions organised, I will tutor my student using a variety of methods, such as going through best answers, marking papers and creating essay plans and flashcards.
My past experience
Yes, I have over 500 hours of experience privately tutoring A-level and GCSE students. I also have over 100 hours of experience tutoring LNAT and A-level students via Study Mind.
My Proudest Achievements
Achieving a first class grade in my dissertation concerning the need to reform elements of medical law.
