Hi! My name is Jason. I am an Engineering Graduate with an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the top college in the University of Cambridge: Trinity College. With over four years of teaching experience—both during my time at university and as a tutor—I have developed a deep passion for helping students achieve their academic goals. My expertise spans Oxbridge interview preparation, A-Level tutoring, and IGCSE teaching, specifically in Maths, Physics and BPHO.

My specialisation is in Cambridge and Oxford interview preparation, where I have recently guided over 10 students in total to securing offers from Oxford and Cambridge. My approach to interview preparation involves assessing each student’s strengths and weaknesses in common interview topics, tailoring sessions to address gaps, and building confidence through mock interviews and problem-solving exercises. All sessions are accompanied by recordings, detailed feedback forms, and ongoing pastoral support for both students and parents, ensuring a collaborative and transparent learning journey.

For A-Level tutoring, I focus on simplifying complex concepts by breaking them down into specification-specific content. My teaching style is interactive and structured: I introduce new topics with medium-level example questions, work through challenging problems together, and assign carefully curated homework to reinforce understanding. Over time, I have developed comprehensive notes for the entire Physics and Mathematics syllabi to help with my teaching style.
