Hi! I’m Maysoon, a King’s College London student with a strong academic background and five years of tutoring experience. Having completed the full IB Diploma, I understand first-hand how challenging demanding academic programmes can be and how important it is to have a tutor who can make difficult concepts feel manageable.
Over the years, I have worked with students of different ages, abilities and learning styles, including students with ADHD and autism. My approach is patient, encouraging and highly personalised. I want my students to genuinely understand what they are learning rather than simply memorising information for an exam.
Alongside academics, I have extensive experience in public speaking, debating and leadership. I have participated in MUN for over nine years and served as Secretary-General of one of the UAE’s largest MUN conferences. I also have experience with TEDx and international conferences. I speak English, French and Arabic fluently, as well as Spanish, which allows me to connect with students from a wide variety of backgrounds.
I have received university offers from King’s College London, Georgetown University, George Washington University and the University of Manchester, as well as a scholarship offer from GWU. I have also completed CFA Institute certification with a 99% achievement score and have experience with European medical admissions examinations.
Most importantly, I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence. Whether a student wants to improve their grades, prepare for an exam, strengthen their study skills or become a more confident speaker, I adapt each lesson to their individual goals.
