20About Me
Hi! I’m Nila and I will be studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Imperial College London this September. I scored A*AAA in my A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry respectively. I have been tutoring for over 5 years and completed over 160 lessons. I am able to support students preparing for the 11+, GCSEs, A Levels and University Entrance Exams. I pride myself on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and build up their confidence. Every lesson is tailored to the individual, whether that’s strengthening core understanding, improving exam technique or tackling challenging topics. I aim to not only help students achieve excellent outcomes but also to help them enjoy the learning process. I look forward to meeting you!
My teaching style
My teaching style is student-led and tailored to each individual’s learning needs as I believe every student learns and retains information differently. I begin lessons by reviewing the underlying theory, allowing me to identify a student’s strengths and areas for improvement while addressing any misconceptions or gaps in understanding. Once the key concepts have been covered, we move on to the exam-style practice questions, applying the theory in context and developing effective exam technique. Throughout each lesson, I encourage students to ask questions, ensuring they build both confidence and a deeper understanding of the subject.
My past experience
I have over 5 years of tutoring experience and have completed over 160 tutoring sessions including primary school, 11+, GCSE and now A Level and University Entrance Examinations. I have an 100% pass rate and many of my students have gone on to improve both their grades and confidence.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements would be earning a place to study Electrical Engineering at Imperial College London. It was the culmination of many years of hard work, resilience and dedication as well as a lot of support from teachers and family.
