Hi! I’m Fatimah, a final-year medical student. My own journey through medical school ignited a desire to support others, and over the past four years I have had the privilege of helping over 200 students through the admissions process. I specialise in medicine personal statement writing and interview preparation. Seeing students achieve their goals has been extremely rewarding.
I am friendly, patient, and fully committed to your success. With a strong academic background and passion for teaching, my goal is to inspire confidence in students and help them flourish. I strive to go above and beyond to ensure you achieve the best results possible.
The medical school admissions process can be very intimidating, but with the right strategies and techniques I think anyone can do it, and there is so much guidance that I would love to share to help you succeed too!
My teaching style
I believe that every student has a unique story and strengths worth highlighting. My role is to help you discover these strengths, shape your responses, and ensure you shine in every aspect of your interview.
My teaching style is student-centered, focusing on your unique learning needs and goals. I emphasise active learning and mock exercises, especially in interview preparation. One of my biggest strengths is being able to provide insightful and critical feedback, that I hope will help you showcase your strengths and stand out as a well-rounded candidate.
My past experience
I have previous teaching experience as a peer mentor for 4 years helping students in school with difficult concepts. I volunteered as an assistant teacher for a year. I have tutored students with their personal statements, MMI interviews and panel interviews. I have been a mock MMI and panel interviewer. I have been involved in the student led teaching society at my university.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement is when I was in the top 20 students in my year at medical school.
