Hi, I’m Rohan, a third-year Physics undergraduate at the University of Oxford.

Academically, I achieved all 9s at GCSE and A*s in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at A-Level, and when applying to universities got all 5 offers (including Oxford and Imperial). At Oxford, I have been elected an Academic Scholar for my college for two consecutive years, receiving distinction-level results in both my first and second years. Outside of academics, I have interests in Machine Learning, Programming, and Finance which is indicated by me starting as a Quantitative Trading Intern at a proprietary trading firm in London.

As a tutor, I specialise in teaching Maths and Physics with a focus on first-principles understanding and rigorous problem-solving. My academic background and genuine passion for these subjects allow me to teach them at a depth typically inaccessible at school, giving students true conceptual clarity rather than rote familiarity. I then show them how to convert that depth of understanding into precise, efficient exam performance and top grades. My teaching style has been especially helpful in tutoring my Oxbridge/Imperial candidates for entrance exams, and mock interviews where 5/6 of them got into their desired university.
