About Me
I am a recent Oxford graduate (Master’s) and am passionate about Psychology and academic research. I love inspiring students by sharing my knowledge engagingly as well as fostering critical thinking skills instead of sole memorisation. I enjoy getting to know my students and genuinely interacting with them, and watching them develop to unlock their full potential.
Growing up, I enjoyed playing music such as the violin and piano, and also picked up the ukulele during the pandemic lockdown. In my spare time, I love to travel. I recently returned from a one-month trip to China where I worked as a teacher for a Winter English Camp and also got to enjoy exploring different cities. I thoroughly enjoyed living abroad in South Korea during my exchange programme, as well as Hawaii during my gap year.
My teaching style
I like to make my lessons fun and engaging, not purely focusing only on academics but also incorporating fun games and creativity. I do not hesitate in giving praise when it is deserved and offer feedback constructively.
My past experience
Yes, I have tutored both online and in-person in Mathematics and English. I have also taught classes teaching English as a second language and Korean as a foreign language.
My Proudest Achievements
Being awarded the Examiner’s Prize from the University of Warwick for graduating with the highest score in the Psychology department.
I was also accepted into multiple competitive research initiatives, having secured full funding for my additional dissertation-style research project and acquired collaboration with the world-leading expert in my research field.
