Liza
About Me
Hi, my name is Liza and I have recently graduated from the University of Lincoln, where I studied psychology with forensic psychology. I studied Biology, Maths and Chemistry at A- level. I have achieved an overall 2.1 in my undergraduate degree and Bs in all three of the subjects I studied at A level. I am going to study come Septemebr Psychological research methods for my master’s degree. All these subjects I have had a continued passion in and would love to tutor in as I want students to achieve their true potential. Sometimes it’s hard to believe in yourself and I have experienced that first hand, but with my tutoring I will help you realise you can be what you dream to be. I love to see students become more confident in who they are. In my spare time I love performing in musicals, playing video games and collecting vinyls.
My teaching style
I like having students engage in exam question as I can see what they are stronger at within certain topics and what they struggle with more. You never know your ability until you try. I also enjoy finding fun ways for students to remember content like menuomics or using fun drawings.
My past experience
I have previously had work experience within a primary school, I have taught some drama GCSE lessons and I am currently tutoring my brother through his GCSEs.
My Proudest Achievements
Some of my proudest achievements are my high grades I got at my A levels as I worked so hard to achieve them over the two years, getting on head team in secondary school as I improved my confidence with public speaking and finally getting some main roles in musicals as I have been scared singing in front of crowds before.
