Mahnoor
About Me
Hi 🙂 I’m Mahnoor, I’m currently a 5th-year medical student at UCL. I understand that the journey to medical school can be challenging at times which is why I would like to guide you through the steps and make it as stress-free as possible. From teaching students in the past, I understand that individuals have their own strengths and weaknesses which is why I will tailor my approach according to your needs. I believe in helping students grow their understanding but also the confidence they place in themselves as this is just as important in succeeding. Sessions will take a 2-way approach to ensure you have an opportunity to lead your learning and will be filled with opportunities to apply your knowledge. I am someone you can rely on for help no matter the challenges you face and would therefore love to get an opportunity to support you in your journey to medical school. Best of luck!
My teaching style
I tailor my teaching style to the student’s needs by taking into account their strengths and weaknesses. I ensure students have a good foundation of subject knowledge before moving on to more complex concepts. Furthermore, I also encourage the application of knowledge through practice questions. I believe in a student-led approach.
My past experience
I have tutored GCSE students in the past and have helped students through their personal statements and interview process. Through Medic Mind, I have tutored students for BMAT and UCAT. I have received positive feedback from all my past tutees.
