Hi! I’m Mollie, a passionate language tutor with a degree in Modern Languages and PGCE with 3 years experience teaching languages in a mainstream secondary school. I have a love for helping students unlock new opportunities through language learning. My journey with languages has taken me across the world-from studying and teaching in Valencia, Spain, to living in Austria and the breath-taking Galápagos Islands in Ecuador. These experiences have given me first-hand insight into different cultures and how language connects us all.
After years in the classroom, I transitioned to tutoring because I believe students thrive best in 1:1 Settings, where lessons can be truly tailored to their needs. I offer engaging, interactive tutoring for learners of all ages. I’m here to help you or your child build confidence and fluency in a way that works best for you. My passion for languages began when I was at school, but it truly skyrocketed when I pursued Spanish at university and had the incredible opportunity to live in the Galápagos Islands. Immersing myself in the language and culture showed me just how powerful language learning can be.
My teaching style
I have 5 years of hands-on experience teaching KS3, GCSE, and A-Level Spanish, as well as KS3 and GCSE German, working with students of all abilities. My time in a challenging mainstream secondary school gave me invaluable experience supporting students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and many others. I understand that every student learns differently, and I’m passionate about adapting my teaching to help each learner gain confidence, make progress, and enjoy the journey.
I specialize in personalized learning, whether you need exam preparation, extra support, or a challenge beyond the classroom. Having worked with students of all abilities, including those with ASD, ADHD, and other learning needs, I create a patient, supportive environment where every learner can thrive. My goal is to help you or your child succeed-not just in exams, but in real-world language use, opening doors to future opportunities.
