Hi, I’m Maria!

I’m a 4th-year dental student at the University of Sheffield and a Biomedical Sciences graduate from Queen Mary University of London. I achieved a high UCAT score with 870 in Abstract Reasoning, placing me in the top percentile for this section. I also achieved in the 700s for the rest of the sections. I’ve been supporting dental applicants for the past four years through personal statements, interview preparation and application strategy.
During my application cycle I received 3 offers and I have tutored students for interviews from most universities, which has given me a strong understanding of how interview styles, questions and expectations vary between universities. I’m approachable, friendly and genuinely enjoy helping students feel confident and prepared during what can be a very stressful process. I always encourage questions and make sure students fully understand how to structure and deliver strong answers.

Alongside dentistry applications, i also teach GCSE maths and sciences as well as A-level Biology which has helped me develop a clear, structured and supportive teaching style tailored to each student.
