1About Me
Hi, I’m Shamona, 1st class law LLB graduate and a future trainee solicitor at an international law firm in London. At university, I have been the careers officer of the law society and student representative of the law school, and a regular mentor for future law students.
I understand how daunting and ambiguous the LNAT can be, being such a unique exam with little prep material available. When I first started preparing, I didn’t know where to start! Over time, I have developed a formulated approach to breaking down different sections, analysing questions and quickly identifying the correct answer. I have successfully tutored over 15 students to achieve high LNAT scores through a foolproof approach that uses multiple tips and tricks.
I am friendly, responsible and calm. I want to use my experience to help you reach your full potential and do achieve your dream LNAT score!
My teaching style
I use a holistic teaching style which I personalise based on every student
1. Initially understanding exam structure, vocabulary and topics – One place students go wrong is just blindly doing loads of mock exams without correctly understanding what the exam entials.
2. Analysing specific question types and eliminating answers – This process is extremely important and will be your best friend during the exam.
3. Mock exam and time practice + personalised feedback – I have a bank of 10 mock exam papers which I share with my student. After this, we go through every individual answer and discuss why each question has a particular answer.
4. Feedback – I will create a personalised feedback report every 2 weeks so you can keep track of your progress, I would also love to hear your feedback so I can improve my teaching!
My past experience
Helped over 30 students with personal statements and applications and tutored them for the LNAT. My students have all gone on to score at the higher percentile.
