8About Me
Hi I am Vivek, I am a first year undergraduate studying Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. I achieved 4A*s at A Levels and 11 9s at GCSE and I offer tutoring in maths and physics at GCSE and A-Level standard. I also offer tutoring for university admissions especially for the PAT and for engineering/physics interviews.
I believe my first-hand experience and knowledge in these areas would not only improve your skills in the short term but also grow a deeper understanding of the subject as a whole. I offer a variety of teaching and assessment methods which would nurture your understanding of individual topics and how they link together. One of the reasons I took up tutoring is to see my students achieve their goals, no matter what they are. Whether it be getting a high score in a public exam, or even just improve in a topic they were previously struggling on, I love seeing my students achieve their goals
My teaching style
My teaching style is very dependent on the student I am tutoring. Whether it be in a topic which the student is struggling or excelling, I will adapt the topic and its questions to the student’s needs.
My past experience
I tutored students at partnership schools throughout years 12 and 13 in Maths and Physics.
My Proudest Achievements
I would say my proudest achievement, is gaining admission into Oxford, a university which has always been a dream of mine to get into. Along the way I have also picked up great achievements, like a senior scholarship at my school and also multiple chess trophies at the county level.
