About Me
Hi, my name is Beth and I am fully qualified teacher based in Newcastle.
I hold a PGCE in Early Primary Education with QTS from Northumbria University, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Autism.
I specialise in teaching literacy, numeracy, study skills and supporting students with SEND.
I work part-time as a specialist intervention teacher, working students from Early Years up to Key Stage 4 struggling with their literacy and numeracy, learning engagement, emotional regulation and communication skills.
In addition to this, I also work freelance as a study skills tutor, supporting students in Higher Education with their academic studies
In my role as a private tutor, I offer literacy, numeracy, English and maths tuition from Early Years up to Key Stage 4.

My teaching style
I have a calm, empathetic and nurturing teaching style. My aim is to help your child develop a love of learning by getting to know what their interests are so that I can incorporate this into lessons and activities, whether it be phonics, reading comprehension, number skills or maths.
