Hi, I’m Zahirah, and I tutor GCSE and A-Level students in Biology and Chemistry. Having achieved top grades in these subjects myself, I understand exactly what examiners look for and how to approach tricky concepts with confidence. As an A-Level resit student, I also know first-hand how challenging the process can feel- but it gave me the opportunity to develop highly effective study techniques, efficient revision strategies, and a resilient mindset that I now pass on to my students. I’m currently studying Biochemistry at King’s College London, where I continue to expand my love for the biosciences. Tutoring is something I genuinely enjoy because it allows me to share both my passion for science and the practical methods that helped me succeed. I believe that with the right guidance and study tools, every student can make significant progress and feel motivated in their learning.
My teaching style
My teaching style is supportive, clear, and exam-focused. I adapt lessons to each student’s needs whether it’s breaking down complex topics, practicing past papers or sharing efficient study methods that build confidence.
My Proudest Achievements
Achieving top A-Levels, earning a place to study Biochemistry at King’s, and developing efficient study methods through my own exam journey.
