I am a dedicated and highly motivated degree holder and professional ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience, both online and in classroom settings. I have worked with learners of different ages, levels, and cultural backgrounds, helping them develop strong skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation.
Throughout my teaching career, I have taught English online and also served as an English teacher at First Baptist Church (2022–2024) and Premier Academy (2024–present). These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to individual learning styles and goals, whether students are beginners or advanced learners.
As an ESL teacher, I am patient, organized, and student-centered. I focus on building learners’ confidence, encouraging active participation, and creating a supportive learning environment. My lessons are structured, engaging, and practical, with emphasis on real-life communication and clear understanding of the English language.
I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals through effective English communication. I believe in continuous learning, clear feedback, and consistent support to ensure every student makes steady progress.
My teaching style
My teaching style is student-centered, structured, and supportive. I focus on understanding each student’s learning goals and adapting my lessons to suit their level, pace, and needs. I create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel confident to speak and make mistakes without fear.
I use clear explanations, guided practice, and real-life examples to help students understand and use English naturally. I emphasize communication, especially speaking and pronunciation, while also building strong foundations in grammar and vocabulary.
I believe in patience, consistency, and positive feedback. I regularly assess progress, give constructive corrections, and motivate students to improve step by step. My goal is not only to teach English, but to help students become confident, independent English users.
My past experience
am a professional ESL teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience, working with students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds. My teaching career includes both online instruction and in-person classroom teaching, which has helped me develop strong adaptability and effective communication skills.
From 2022 to 2024, I taught English at First Baptist Church, where I worked with children, teenagers, and adults. In this role, I planned and delivered structured English lessons focused on grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and speaking skills. I also supported learners with exam preparation and basic conversational English, ensuring lessons were engaging and easy to understand.
Currently, from 2024 to the present, I teach English at Premier Academy, where I continue to help students improve their English proficiency. My responsibilities include lesson planning, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. I focus on creating interactive lessons that build confidence and encourage active participation.
In addition to classroom teaching, I have extensive experience as an online ESL tutor, teaching students from different countries through virtual platforms. This has strengthened my ability to use digital teaching tools, manage online classrooms effectively, and maintain student engagement in a remote learning environment.
