Hi! I’m Dae, a UCL medical student and award-winning tutor with over 3 years of experience helping GCSE and A-Level students excel in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Korean. I graduated with 3 A*s at A-Level—ranking top in my year for Biology—and have since helped students consistently jump 2+ grades, with some going from a C to an A*, and others ranking first in their year. My sessions are fast-paced, efficient, and results-focused. I specialise in breaking down complex topics into simple steps and drilling them in using active recall, exam-style questions, and repetition—methods proven to boost retention and exam performance. My teaching style
My teaching approach is straightforward and results-driven. I focus on quickly covering key concepts, followed by intensive question-based practice to reinforce understanding. I strongly believe in active recall and repetition—powerful techniques that help students retain information long-term and excel in exams. I aim to make each session dynamic, focused, and tailored to the student’s needs.
My past experience
I’ve been tutoring for over 3 years, working mainly with GCSE and A-Level students, as well as medical school applicants. My experience includes subject tutoring, exam preparation, and intensive coaching for medical school interviews—helping students build both academic and personal confidence.
