15About Me
Hi, I’m Aldin, an Oxford-educated economist with experience in academia, civil service and tutoring starting September 2026, also a full-time IGCSE and A-level Economics and Business Studies teacher at Perrott Hill British International School in Prague.
My experience in tutoring started already in high school, when I was an official math tutor for my classmates at UWC Dilijan College as part of my CAS (Creativity, Action and Service) program in the IB DP. Later, after graduating from Oxford, I had a job as a teaching assistant on the course I finished, helping with Stats and Econometrics. And after 4 more years in civil service, I am back to teaching now!
I tutor A-level and IGCSE Economics and Business Studies, as well as Mathematics up to Key Stage 4, and I also offer support with personal statements. My lessons are friendly but focused, usually starting with your goals, school materials, past work and assessment needs so we can build a plan that actually fits you.

My teaching style
I always tailor my lessons to each individual student. We start with a preparatory lesson, which helps me understand your goals, helps us set realistic expectations for future lessons, and allows us to see if we are a good fit ;). If we get along well, I will ask you to share some of your previous work with me, as well as the learning/teaching materials you use at school/university, so that I can better determine your skill level and create an effective lesson plan for you. I will share your plan with you and give you space to raise any concerns you may have before starting the first lesson. I am not a big fan of formalities, and so I always try to make the lessons, as well as all our communication, as honest and friendly as possible, so that you feel comfortable enough to ask any questions you may have. My Proudest Achievements
Well, apart from finishing my Oxford degree with a Merit and actually beeting Cambridge in fencing varsity, probably finding the courage to take a gap year after a couple years into my proffessional path 🙂
