I’m a fourth-year Mathematics student at the University of Oxford offering friendly, thoughtful, and highly effective tutoring in maths. Having come from a background with limited support during my own university application journey, I’m especially committed to helping students who might feel underrepresented or unsure of where to start. I focus on building confidence, developing clear mathematical thinking, and fostering genuine curiosity. Whether you’re aiming for top grades, preparing for STEP/TMUA/Oxbridge interviews, or simply wanting to strengthen your understanding, I tailor my approach to each student and create a supportive, encouraging environment where they can really thrive.

I have a broad range of teaching experience across different ages and levels. I spent a summer teaching mathematics at a school in Shanghai, delivering classes to enthusiastic students and adapting material to different abilities and learning styles. I’ve provided private tutoring for GCSE, A-level, and university entrance preparation, including running Oxbridge mock interviews that focus on problem-solving and clear mathematical communication. At Oxford, I regularly support my peers by explaining course material and working through difficult problem sheets together. I also teach at the Oxford Maths Circles, an enrichment programme for school pupils interested in deeper mathematical thinking, where I help introduce problem-solving techniques and mathematical ideas beyond the standard curriculum.
