23About Me
Hi! I am a final-year PPE student at the University of Oxford, on track to achieve a high first-class degree. I specialise in Politics and Philosophy, but am still familiar with economic concepts and able to teach this at a pre-university level. I took Politics, Mathematics, and Economics at A-Level, and wrote an EPQ in Philosophy. I achieved a very high score on the TSA admissions test for Oxford, and performed well enough at interview to obtain an offer. Throughout my course, I have offered tuition for A-level and GCSE students, and supported them with exam preparation. I have also supported students at earlier years for 11+ tests, and later years for interview practice and personal statement support. I have a passion for making learning engaging, meaningful, and making sure people feel prepared and confident for whatever tests or assignments they may have coming up.
My teaching style
I like to understand how my students think, and what works best for them in terms of remembering, understanding, and applying. I identify the areas both academically and personally that my students might need to work on, and design plans to achieve their goals as they tell me them. I like to challenge students, focusing on engagement, but the content of the lessons are very much up to the student, and I always allow them intellectual freedom in their work.

My Proudest Achievements
Getting a place at Oxford University was a proud achievement for me, but also further than that, achieving highly whilst at University and developing my own intellect in a way that allows me to share knowledge and the pleasure of learning with others.
