About Me

From UCAT to Offer: Graduate Entry Medicine Offer Holder providing UCAT, application strategy, interview coaching, and full medical school admissions support.

I am a Graduate Entry Medicine offer holder beginning at the University of Chester in September 2026, with a Master’s degree in Behavioural Neuroscience and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. I successfully navigated the UK medical school admissions process independently, securing my offer on my first application cycle.

As a neurodivergent applicant who sat the UCAT SEN, I understand first-hand the challenges many students face when preparing for admissions tests and navigating a highly competitive application process. Through strategic university selection, strong application content, and effective interview preparation, I successfully converted my application into multiple medical school interviews and ultimately a Graduate Entry Medicine offer. This experience taught me that success in medical school admissions is about far more than a UCAT score alone.

I specialise in UCAT and UCAT SEN preparation, medical school applications, personal statements, interview coaching, and strategic university selection. My focus is on developing personalised, practical strategies that align with each student’s strengths, learning style, and individual circumstances rather than relying on one-size-fits-all approaches.

Interview preparation is a particular area of strength, drawing on my healthcare experience, patient interviews, OSCE-style communication experience, and ethics discussions. I help students develop confident, authentic, and well-structured responses while building the communication, reflection, and critical thinking skills that medical schools are looking for.

I take a structured, student-centred approach, helping learners build confidence, improve exam technique, strengthen reflection on work experience, and understand exactly what admissions tutors are looking for. I am particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent, SEN, widening participation, and international applicants who may feel that traditional admissions advice does not fully reflect their experiences.

My goal is simple: to help students maximise every stage of the admissions process, from UCAT preparation through to interviews and offers, while providing the personalised support and guidance I wish I had when navigating the journey myself.

My teaching style

My teaching style is student-centred, practical, and supportive. I focus on providing structured guidance tailored to each student’s individual goals, whether that is improving UCAT performance, developing a competitive application, selecting the most appropriate universities, or preparing for interviews.

As a neurodivergent student, I understand the importance of adapting learning strategies to suit different learning styles and individual needs. I help students build confidence, strengthen exam technique, develop effective problem-solving skills, and communicate their experiences clearly and authentically.

I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to medical school admissions. My aim is to help students identify their strengths, develop personalised strategies, and maximise every aspect of their application. Through a combination of practical advice, constructive feedback, and targeted preparation, I help students approach the admissions process with greater confidence and clarity.

My past experience

I have teaching experience across university, secondary, and sixth form levels. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I supported students with academic skills, tutorials, and research projects, while also working with SEN students and adapting my teaching to different learning styles and individual needs.

My tutoring focuses on medical school admissions, including UCAT and UCAT SEN preparation, application strategy, personal statements, university selection, and interview preparation. Having successfully secured a Graduate Entry Medicine offer independently, I understand the admissions process first-hand and help students maximise every stage of their application.

Interview preparation is a particular area of strength, drawing on my healthcare experience, patient interviews, OSCE-style communication, and ethics discussions. I also support Psychology applicants using my background in Psychology and Behavioural Neuroscience.

My Proudest Achievements

My proudest achievement is securing a place in Graduate Entry Medicine after independently navigating the entire admissions process, from UCAT preparation and university selection to applications and interviews. Having previously faced significant personal and academic challenges, this achievement reflects the resilience, determination, and adaptability I developed along the way.

I am also proud of completing a Master’s degree in Behavioural Neuroscience, where I designed and led an independent research project from conception through to completion. Both experiences have shaped my approach to learning, problem-solving, and supporting others in achieving their goals.
