About Me
I am an empathetic and dedicated MSc Clinical Neuropsychiatry student at the University of Birmingham, holding a Gold Medal in Neurophysiology. I have strong hands-on experience in psychiatry, neurology, neurophysiology, and mental health support, with a particular focus on working with children, young people, and adults with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, trauma histories, developmental delays, and neuropsychiatric conditions. I am calm and patient, capable of quickly building therapeutic trust, and I am seeking NHS roles that allow me to provide compassionate care and support in neurophysiology and mental health contexts.
My teaching style
My teaching style is nurturing and patient-centered, focusing on building confidence and motivation in young people. I tailor my approach to meet the individual academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of children and young people, particularly those with SEND and SEMH. I believe in developing coping strategies through empathy and consistent support, fostering positive communication and emotional regulation skills.
My Proudest Achievements
I am proud to have been awarded the Gold Medal in Neurophysiology and received academic merit scholarships. My work has been recognized for empathy, leadership, and clinical professionalism, and I have led mental health and wellbeing initiatives that positively impact the communities I serve.
