Archana
About Me
Hi! My name is Archana and I am a first year medical student at King’s College London. I have experience tutoring KS2 and KS3 science and maths, as well as GCSE maths, biology and chemistry. I recently completed my A-Levels which provided me with the firsthand experience and knowledge about how to navigate them to get the grades you want to achieve, so I am more than happy to tutor biology or chemistry at A-Level.
This year I received 4/4 medicine offers, therefore I am also able to provide support for the rigorous medical admissions process – whether this is UCAT, BMAT or interview prep! I am flexible and enthusiastic about tutoring – so do feel free to contact me and I hope I will be able to help with what you are looking for!
My teaching style
Typically lessons will start with a 10 minute starter to refresh previously learnt content – where weaknesses are identified homework on the topic will be set either that lesson or the following one. The main lesson will consist of being taught the content and then working through examples together – exam technique is something that is always revised in lesson. A few questions will be then set for the student to complete independently to test their understanding, which is followed by similar questions for homework.
