About Me
I am a dedicated and passionate educator and researcher with extensive academic and professional experience across Oxford and international organisations. I bring together a strong research background with a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring. Over the past several years, I have designed and led multi-sited fieldwork projects, managed large-scale mixed-methods research, and collaborated with global organisations.
Through these experiences, I have developed expertise in research design, qualitative methods, and policy analysis, which I integrate into my teaching. I aim to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning in my students. I also have experience in academic administration and programme leadership, including managing summer exchange programmes and supporting students at Stanford.
I have published peer-reviewed research on pandemic preparedness, misinformation, and public health inequalities and have presented my work to diverse audiences, from academic experts to policymakers. I am passionate about equipping students not only with subject knowledge but also with the confidence and skills to succeed in examinations, higher education, and beyond.
My teaching style
My approach is rooted in collaboration, inclusivity, and encouraging students to engage deeply with material while building transferable skills for their academic and professional futures.
I also emphasise real-world applications, helping students connect theory to practice and fostering analytical and writing skills essential for academic success.
My past experience
Yes. I have taught and mentored students at Oxford, supported visiting Stanford students in their academic programmes, and supervised research assistants at Lahore University of Management Sciences. I also designed and managed workshops and summer programmes, ensuring an engaging learning environment.
