12About Me
I recently graduated with a BSc Computer Science (Hons) degree with First Class Honors. I am currently interviewing with companies to find the right fit for me and have decided to become a tutor to teach people about computers. I am an extremely passionate individual when it comes to computing and have been programming for 5+ years. I generally work in Web development, AI and mobile development and also embedded systems to some extent which include ESP32 boards and Raspberry PI’s. I am currently working on my projects and would love to show them to you if you’re interested so you can learn more about my skills and how I can better suit you. Besides computers, I love playing sports mainly cricket and badminton. I like DJing even though I’m not very good at it and my friends hate the noise. I am planning to pursue a master’s in AI in the future.
My teaching style
My teaching style is generally influenced by one of my professors. Whenever he had to explain complex topics, His instant reaction was to bring out real-life examples. Want to explain what a class is, Let’s talk about a car factory, Want to explain what a queue datatype is? let’s talk about how Brits love to queue up. I am very influenced by this as I believe most of us learnt the most from him out of all our professors as his explanations were always clear and easy to follow and I plan on doing the same. I am a very patient individual and am happy for you to ask me the same question 20 times. On top of this i would also like to teach the students how to use Google, Programming is not like other courses. Using other’s code is considered the norm in our field and using Google is 50% of programming and is an important skill. Most programmers learn more from googling and making projects than from books.
My past experience
While my professional tutoring experience is limited, I have experience tutoring high schoolers before. After I graduated from high school. I was teaching business management to students a grade below me.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement is graduating with a 1st Class from university as I worked very hard to achieve these grades, My other proudest achievement is working on my own charity which i plan to launch in the coming months.
