About Me

I am an experienced tutor with a strong background in science and online teaching. I create personalised, engaging lessons by identifying each student’s strengths, learning style, and areas for improvement. My past experience

Yes, I have extensive experience in teaching and tutoring across online and in-person settings.

From May 2022to May 2015, I have been working full-time on the Varsity Platform as an Instructional Coach/Teacher/Tutor. In this role, I assess individual student needs, strengths, and learning styles, and design flexible, engaging lesson plans tailored to each learner. I deliver instruction in an online environment using video calls and learning management systems, provide constructive feedback on assignments and assessments, monitor academic progress, and motivate students to stay engaged. I also maintain clear communication with students and parents, utilise various digital teaching tools, share additional learning resources, and create a positive, supportive online learning environment.

Previously, I worked as an English and Math Teacher at IVY in Flushing, New York (September 2017 – March 2022). I taught students in Grades 4–7, including Maths for Grades 3/4 aligned with the NYCCLS curriculum. My responsibilities included lesson planning, delivering structured instruction, evaluating student performance through quizzes and assessments, supporting diverse learning needs, and preparing students for the upcoming academic year. I also successfully completed Summer School teaching during July–August 2021.
