13About Me
I graduated reading Physics at the University of Oxford.
I was the first from my Sixth Form to attend Oxford.
I have done A Levels: Physics (A*), Maths (A*), Further Maths (A), and Spanish (A*).
I enjoy tutoring students with their A levels and admissions tests to help them achieve their dream universities.
I tailor my tutoring style must be catered to each individual student. I build a rapport with my students, understanding their strengths and weaknesses and how they learn best. I firmly believe that the best teaching can be done from a place of having struggled to understand concepts, and finding a way to overcome this. Throughout school and university many lessons took a long time to click for me, and I had to find what worked for me. Nothing brings me more joy than finding what helps my students to finally understand something.
Past students I have tutored have gone on to achieve offers from universities such as Oxford, ICL, and Durham.
My teaching style
Exams are a game, and the prize is your grade. Answering the questions in the correct style is just as important as understanding the content. I encourage and inspire my students to take an interest in their studies and understand the subjects deeply, as I did, however I also have insight into what you need to know – and say in your exam – in order to get all the marks.
I work with my students and their parents to understand their goals, whether it be an exam grade, or a lifetime fascination with a subject, and we remain focused on those goals.
My past experience
I have over 5 year ‘experience and tutored several students who have gone on to achieve offers from universities such as Oxford, ICL, and Durham.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement is being the first from my Sixth form to get into Oxford, which has given me excellent opportunities.
