Hi, I’m Francesca! I’m currently a 2nd year Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology student at the University of Cambridge. Before that, I did my A-Levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology and AS level in Further Maths, achieving A*A*AA, so I really do know what it takes to go from GCSEs all the way through to top grades and a competitive university offer.

I’ve been tutoring since August 2023, after my old school’s Maths and Science departments asked me to start helping students privately following my own strong GCSE results (999998877L2D*). Since then, 100% of the students I’ve tutored have met or exceeded their predicted grades, three quarters have gone on to study STEM subjects, and half of the Cambridge Chemical Engineering applicants I mentored received offers and are now at Cambridge themselves.

Outside of tutoring, I’ve done work experience at Williams F1, JPMorgan, Jane Street and BNY Mellon, so I bring genuine enthusiasm for problem-solving and real-world maths and science into my lessons, not just exam technique. I’m patient, approachable, and I care about you actually understanding the “why” behind a concept rather than just memorising it. I’m looking forward to working with you 🙂 !
