My teaching style

My teaching style is student-centered and adaptive, rooted in structured pedagogy and contextual activity-based learning (CABL). I believe that students learn best when complex concepts are connected to real-world applications, which is why I integrate practical examples from astrophysics, engineering, and everyday phenomena into my lessons. This approach not only makes abstract ideas in Physics and Mathematics more accessible but also sparks curiosity and deeper engagement.

I employ a range of evidence-based instructional techniques, including differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and SEN support, ensuring every student can access the curriculum at their own level. My lessons follow a clear, logical framework: we begin with establishing prior knowledge, then introduce new concepts through guided discovery and interactive problem-solving, and finally consolidate learning through formative assessment and reflection. I utilize visual aids, simulations, and structured questioning to promote critical thinking and help students develop independent reasoning skills. By creating a positive, supportive classroom environment, I empower students to build confidence, master challenging material, and achieve their academic goals.
