Hi there, thanks for stopping by!
My name is Stefan. I am a Doctor working in London and I love teaching!
I qualified from UCL with an MBBS with Distinction
I recently obtained the MRCP(UK) diploma and with an outstanding PACES examination score
I regularly teach doctors, medical students and other allied health professionals but also offer private undergraduate/postgraduate medicine tuition, along with medical school application support.
I have also produced multiple open access revision articles
Teaching is a skill, requiring development and nourishment. This is why I have attended focused courses to develop this, understand more about learner theory and optimising transfer of knowledge.

My teaching style
I like to think of tuition not just as a transaction but a relationship between a unique learner and a facilitator. It is important to identify and understand learning objectives early so lessons and their materials can be dedicated to the correct level. I firmly believe in a strategy where we build knowledge from basic principles and consistently link even pre-clinical content to clinical practice, as this is often which provides the best value for students. Medicine can be daunting but is also about working smart and efficiently, as it is an extremely large yet complex subject matter.
My past experience
I have plentiful experience teaching students of varying abilities and stages of their studies, in varying formats. I am a clinical lecturer for UCL Medical School and simulation and clinical skills lead for my hospital undergraduate campus. Alongside this I regularly teach medical students, doctors and allied health professionals. In fact I have created educational programmes for my colleagues and with my current department this caters for >100 doctors in addition to allied health professionals. I have been awarded the Junior Doctor Certificate of Merit by UCL Medical School for excellent contribution to undergraduate teaching.
I currently provide private tuition for medical undergraduate study, allied health courses such as nursing, pharmacy or paramedic science and also prospective students in their university application process.
