12About Me
My name is Shourya Sharma and I am a 3rd year medical student at Newcastle University. I am an international student from Malaysia and ethnically I am Indian. I am very excited to be a part of the Medic Mind team and have the opportunity to help students in their medical school application process. I can understand that the application process can be extremely difficult and daunting, however upon reflecting on the process, reading many resources and guides now upon completing 2 years of medical school I believe I have learnt about many tips and tricks of how to ace your interviews, how to streamline your application process and how to make into your dream medical schools! I believe I am a friendly, helpful and dedicated indvidual who will be there to support you guys in the required steps for medical school and will make personalised sessions for your teaching sessions!
My teaching style
I believe I use a problem solving teaching method; I like to discuss with students where their main deficits or weaknesses are and then like to prioritise those areas by making individualised and personalised sessions that would work with the particular student. But at the same time I it is important to keep polishing their more stronger areas in order to make sure the student is holistic
