Hi, I’m Daryan – a 2nd-year Natural Sciences student at the University of Warwick, and a Maths tutor with nearly two years’ experience (800+ hours) supporting GCSE and A-Level students. My aim is simple: make Maths feel clear, manageable, and actually achievable – while getting you ready for the way questions come up in real exams.
A lot of students understand topics in lessons, then freeze when the wording changes in an exam. That’s where I’m strongest. We’ll build solid foundations first, then practise exam-style questions until your method becomes consistent and your confidence improves. I explain things step-by-step (no jumping over the “obvious” bits), and I’ll show you how to pick up marks reliably – even when you’re not 100% sure at first.
My sessions are structured but relaxed: quick recap, a taught section, guided practice, then independent exam questions with feedback. I keep a clear record of what we’ve covered and what needs work, so you can see progress week by week. Between sessions, I can set short, targeted homework and share revision checklists, so you’re not revising blindly.
If you want a tutor who’s friendly, patient, and focused on real results – not just getting through a worksheet – I’d love to help.
