We are currently inviting dedicated SEN / SEND Teachers throughout Nottinghamshire, including in Nottingham, Mansfield, and Newark-on-Trent to join our team and positively influence the educational journey of vulnerable learners. We support children and young people with a variety of needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and other additional educational needs. Nottinghamshire SEN Teacher Role
As a SEN / SEND Teacher at Study Mind, you will:
• Provide 1:1 Maths, English, or Science tuition to students with SEND, SEMH, and other additional needs.
• Plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to the specific requirements of each student.

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to families and schools to ensure continuous support.
• Collaborate with local authorities and schools to support the holistic development of each student.
SEN / SEND Teacher Tasks and Responsibilities in Nottinghamshire
• Plan each lesson to suit the learning style of the individual student, supporting both academic and emotional development.
• Deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student’s needs, encouraging both academic achievement and personal growth.
• Provide regular progress updates through detailed lesson reports and feedback to the wider support network.
• Ensure that each lesson is trauma-informed and meets the holistic needs of the student, addressing both academic and emotional requirements.
SEN / SEND Teacher Requirements in Nottinghamshire
• Teaching Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with at least 1 year of experience working with students with SEND.
