This week was amazing and I enjoyed all the hands on activities, especially designing outfits and sketching fashion illustrations. It was a good mix of learning, creating, and getting advice on careers and UCAS. I feel way more confident about studying fashion now.

I’ve always liked fashion and this work experience helped me understand how to bring my ideas to life. The garment making and customisation session was so much fun, and I loved learning the new techniques. The personal statement advice at the end of the week was super helpful for applying to uni. 

I think the best part was the styling and creative direction workshop. I didn’t realise how much thought goes into putting a look together. The visit to University of the Arts showed me what studying fashion could be like, and because of this I have definitely started thinking about applying.

I really loved the balance between creative activities and learning about the fashion industry. The mood board creation session helped me express my ideas clearly and the University of the Arts session made me realise how much more there is to fashion beyond just design.
