This week was such a good mix of practical coding, theory, and future careers. I really liked the ethics session because it made me think about the responsibility that comes with creating AI. This week helped me decide I want to do Computer Science at uni.

I think that the AI model building session was my favourite because it felt amazing to train something and see the results instantly. I didn’t expect to enjoy the week this this much. It also gave me loads to talk about in my personal statement.

I really loved how hands on the sessions were. The project build day gave us time to be creative and problem solve like a real developer team. The UCAS and career advice on Friday was also really helpful, I left with a clearer idea of my next steps for univeristy.

I didn’t have much coding experience before this week but by learning Python step by step, it made coding  feel really achievable. The AI project helped me see how what we were learning could be used in real life and I found  the visit to the tech company really inspiring.
