Purpose
Study Mind Ltd exists to empower every learner to achieve their full academic and personal potential through high-quality, personalised education and mentoring. We provide accessible, flexible, and evidence-based learning opportunities to children and young people across the UK and internationally, including those in mainstream, alternative, and home education settings.
Our purpose is rooted in the belief that education should be inclusive, adaptive, and centred on the unique needs and aspirations of each student.
Aims and Objectives
Study Mind Ltd aims to:
- Deliver bespoke 1:1 and small-group tuition, tailored to individual learning styles, abilities, and interests across all key stages and subjects.
- Support children and young people with SEND and those in Alternative Provision to re-engage with learning, improve confidence, and develop essential academic, social, and life skills.
- Maintain Study Mind as a high-quality, self-sustaining educational organisation that upholds the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and professional conduct.
- Collaborate with local authorities, schools, and families to ensure the best outcomes for students with complex needs or those outside of mainstream education.
- Provide training and ongoing professional development for tutors to ensure consistent, evidence-based, and trauma-informed practice.
- Offer online, hybrid, and community-based learning opportunities, making education accessible to all learners regardless of location or circumstance.
- Embed robust quality assurance processes, including regular lesson observations, feedback, and six-weekly progress reports to track student development.
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion across all operations and uphold the principles of the Equality Act 2010.

Study Mind strives to:
- Improve academic progress and motivation for every learner, regardless of background or ability.
- Enhance emotional wellbeing, resilience, and independence through therapeutic and structured educational support.
- Provide continuity of education for students who are out of school, at risk of exclusion, or require tailored provision under an EHCP or EOTAS arrangement.
- Empower parents and guardians with clear communication, transparency, and collaborative planning.
- Prepare young people for successful transitions into further education, employment, or training (in line with Preparing for Adulthood outcomes).
Services Include
- Academic Tuition: Core subjects (English, Maths, Science) across all Key Stages, Functional Skills, GCSE/Level 2 qualifications, A-Levels, and university entrance support including entrance exams and interview preparation.
- SEND & AP Support: 1:1 and small-group sessions for students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs.
- Virtual School: Structured online learning for KS2–KS4 students with live interactive lessons and enrichment activities.
- Vocational and Enrichment Programmes: Life skills, employability training, interest-based learning (e.g., coding, business, creative arts) and summer career camps (see Appendix A).
- Therapeutic and Mentoring Support: Trauma-informed sessions and social-emotional mentoring.
- Tutor Training: CPD and in-house training modules for SEND awareness, safeguarding, and health & safety.
- Partnership Work: Collaboration with councils, social workers, SEN teams, and other professionals to support coordinated education plans.
Future Aims
Study Mind Ltd will continue to:
- Expand provision nationally to reach more learners in need of flexible education pathways.
- Develop innovative learning technologies and interactive digital platforms to enhance student engagement and progress tracking.
- Strengthen partnerships with local authorities and schools through transparent referral and reporting processes.
- Build capacity through tutor recruitment, training, and accreditation, ensuring consistent delivery quality.
- Maintain financial sustainability and ethical practice, reinvesting in educational resources and professional development.

Appendix A – Summer Career Programmes (Ages 15–18)

Study Mind’s Summer Career Programmes exist to provide high-quality, immersive learning experiences that bridge the gap between academic study and the professional world for learners aged 15-18. The programmes are designed to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to make informed decisions about their future education and career pathways.
Our purpose is rooted in the belief that career education should be accessible, experiential, and personalised. Through industry exposure, practical application, and expert guidance, we aim to foster independence, ambition, and a clear sense of direction in every participant, ensuring they are prepared to thrive in further education, employment, and life.
