Hello! My name is Ana Vaz, I am a final year medical student at University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland.
I have been in university for 7 years now, I did an undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences at University of South Wales, UK for 3 years, and then applied to the Graduate Entry Medicine program which have been 4 long but fast-paced and exciting years! Therefore, I understand how student life is challenging at times, draining even and that extra help may make a big difference! I received tutoring for almost every my big exams, for A-Levels, IELTS, CAE (another english exam), GAMSAT and USMLE Step 1 (a very hard exam to apply to residency in the USA).
To tell you a bit more about myself, It was not always my dream to be a doctor, I only fell in love with Medicine when I was in secondary school, when I realised that being a doctor is a life-long contract of acts of service, where I am constantly being challenged academically, professionally, and emotionally. Every day is different. I never quit, I just try different approaches when something does not work, and I always do my best in everything I get involved with.
I am an aspiring Paediatric Surgeon, having done sub-internships in Paediatric Surgery at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital in Cardiff, UK and also at Yale Children’s New Haven Hospital in Connecticut, USA. I am part of UCD Paediatric Society, having been appointed Teddy Bear Hospital Coordinator for the year 22/23 and I am also a Surgery Skills Tutor and Conference Officer at UCD Surgical Society.
I have worked as a Residential Assistant at UCD Residences, having to manage 56 apartments and I worked as a Carer in Cardiff with Helping Hands.
On my free time I love to watch Netflix (who doesn’t?), read, go to the beach and hike. I am also a cat-mom.

I am a patient, rigorous and highly experienced teacher, tutor, educational consultant, textbook writer, course designer and translator with over 8 years experience in the UK and EU.

I took my undergrad studies at the University of Warwick and Sciences Po Paris in PPE, followed by graduate studies in Mathematics and Philosophy at the Sorbonne and the University of Paris.

I teach Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics, History, Philosophy, English Literature and languages: French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Latin and Ancient Greek). I teach Mathematics, Economics and Philosophy to Undergraduate level.

Aside from my academic interests, I am passionate about music (especially Jazz, Gospel and Disco) and film, playing the piano, saxophone. I am also avidly interested in politics and current affairs (for better or worse).

Hi! My name is Carlota, and I am a 2nd year Politics, Philosophy, Law and Economics student at IE University in Madrid. I’ve always considered myself a studious and academic person, and thus, over the years, I believe I have developed good study habits and mechanisms, that I would love to share with others. I am quite a goal-oriented person, and thus, in the first few lessons, I always like to establish goals and objectives with the student and then systematically build a plan to achieve them based on the student’s availability and willingness. Being the oldest of 3 sisters, I have experience teaching younger kids, which has allowed me to develop patience. I also have experience being a student mentor and being president of the French club at my highschool, in which I helped a group of students with French difficulties, so I am comfortable working with kids regarding academic matters. This is my 3rd year tutoring now after I has begun in college at the start of Year 13. Since then I have gone on to tutor many amazing students who have gone on to achieve incredible A-Level and GCSE grades.

Hello! I’m Molly and I am currently studying Modern and Medieval Languages (Spanish and Portuguese) at Selwyn College, Cambridge. I achieved 10 Grade 9s at GCSE and 3 A*s in Spanish, History and Politics.

I achieved a First Class with Distinction in my second year at university and came 2nd out of 134 students. I know the effort and hard work required to achieve academic excellence and I would love to help others reach their potential and improve their grades.

Learning languages is my passion. I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and I am currently teaching myself French and Italian from scratch. I also took classes in British Sign Language and Catalan at university. My years of experience in language learning mean I know the most effective and fun ways to master a language. It is an incredibly rewarding process and I look forward to working with you to achieve your language-learning goals.

Having gone through the Cambridge admissions process myself, I know what Oxbridge are looking for with personal statements, admission tests and interviews.
