Physical Science Tutors : 1-1 Physical Science Preparation

I am currently a third year Vet student at the University of Liverpool.
During my time in education I have learnt and used many different revision techniques of which I would love to share with other students to help make their revision more manageable and enjoyable. In the past I have tutored many of my friends to help boost their grades as well as students on other tutoring platforms. Each one of them excelled above anything they’d imagined. I have always thoroughly enjoyed the task of making topics deemed complicated become understandable. I love encouraging other students to enjoy their education and the process of learning as I do!
As a vet student, I understand the stress of having to balance achieving top grades in all academics, as well as writing personal statements and doing interviews for vet schools, as I undertook this challenge myself not so long ago. This will allow me to empathise with students providing an understanding and compassionate environment for students to thrive.

Hi I am Aanchal! Im a 3rd year medical student at the university of buckingham. I love teaching and tutoring and helping others gain knowledge for many reasons, most importantly the rewards of my students passing is like no other. I have tutored before and have been successful at it and as a tutor I am very flexible and friendly and am able to meet your needs to avoid disappointment. I was born raised in England but am interested in health in other countries as well. At A-level I studied Biology (A*), Chemistry (A) and English Literature (A*).

At GCSE, the main subjects I studied were: Maths (8), English Literature (9), English Language (9), Biology (9), Physics (9) and Chemistry (8)

The academic demands of applying to medicine are high, and as such, I had to develop a strong work ethic and revision/exam techniques, which I am more than happy to pass on in our sessions.

I used tutors throughout secondary school, mainly for help with Biology, Chemistry and English. I found the help of my tutors invaluable; without it, I don’t think I would have achieved the same grades or even gotten into medical school!

I also think that the interview preparation course that I attended was crucial to me receiving offers from Medical schools. This allowed me to face my fears by stimulating the interview environment so boosted my confidence for the real ones. I also think the feedback I received was so useful to reflect on and analyse in order to improve my performance. I therefore would really like to help others in the same position!

I’m Simran and I’m a first year medical student at the University of Liverpool. I achieved 3/4 medical school offers at Bart’s, Liverpool and Leicester. I have access to Medic Minds UCAT bank and will be using this in lessons. I hope to help others find the confidence in themselves going forward and support them in achieving their respective goals.
