I’m a passionate tutor with experience in a wide range of subjects. I am outgoing and enjoy helping students develop confidence and clarity in their learning.

I tailor my lessons to each student’s level, pace, and goals, making sure they not only understand the material but also enjoy the process. Whether you’re preparing for exams, building foundational skills, or simply want to improve, I’m here to support and guide you. Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students to discover them through carefully chosen examples, thought experiments, and counterexamples. I pay close attention to each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, adapting my approach accordingly—whether that means breaking down complex arguments into manageable parts or pushing advanced students to explore beyond the syllabus. I also stress the importance of revision, feedback, and intellectual humility. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities, and I aim to foster confidence through mastery rather than shortcuts. Ultimately, my goal is to cultivate both independent thinking and disciplined analysis, so that students leave not just knowing more, but reasoning better.

Darcy Dixon graduated from the University of Oxford in 2022 with a High 2.1 and several first class papers.

In Oxford, Darcy was an access rep for her JCR, was the Equity rep for Oxford Drama Society, and the Outreach rep for ACS. She sang at Keble College and was an Open Day rep for the Theology Faculty. Darcy went to St Peters studying the Joint honours degree Philosophy and Theology. Darcy was in the Top 100 Undergraduates for Future Leaders Magazine.

Darcy has done a TEDx talk on the power of change and immediate action. Darcy is also the Vice Chair of the Black Head Students Network, an organisation committed to propelling Black youth leadership within schools. Currently, Darcy is Resident Creative at City University of London, in Islington.

Darcy was on the Young Mentor programme for the Young Vic Theatre, where she was trained to advise industry professionals.

Hello there! I’m a PPE graduate from the university of Warwick with a major in Economics, and I’ll soon be starting a role in Global Markets Graduate Programme at the SMBC Group. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in analytical thinking and financial systems — all of which I bring into my tutoring sessions. I’m particularly passionate about the financial markets and love showing students how the economic theories they learn apply to the real world. I’ve helped students at both GCSE and A-Level achieve top grades, with several securing places at top universities. My approach is friendly, clear and focused on building both understanding and confidence. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy wrestling, boxing and staying disciplined — values that also guide my teaching.
